- THE TIRED HORSE swing is created from factory reject, never used, new tires. Bits of bale twine, treated wood and hardware are added to create a tail, hair, eyes, and stirrups. All hardware on the TIRED HORSE is galvanized or cadmium plated to prevent any corrosion. The handle is an added feature for children to grip while swinging.
